A Workplace

First I did everything in my bedroom, now i finally have a workplace.

Simple Footswitch

Why are all those channel-footswitches for amps always big? So I've built a small one for Richard Ludwig.

DBA Apocalypse Fuzz volume problem - Mod

Death by Audio is one of my favourite guitar fx companies, but why does everything need to be so loud? (Well, if you ever went to A place to bury strangers concert you know why)
This Apocalypse Fuzz from Yannick Tinbergen was sometimes too loud to use it as a ''normal fuzz'', so I've installed a second master/volume pot inside the fuzz, so you can always adjust the volume when the master on the pedal itself is too loud.

A Drive Box - Clone

A pedal that I've build for myself of which I'm really proud. It is a Tube Screamer (TS9), DBA Interstellar Overdrive, MXR Micro Amp combo pedal.
With the left footswitch you can activate the TS9 or IOD, and on the right you can activate the Micro Amp.
With the toggle switch in the centre you can choice between the TS9 and IOD. With the toggle switch on the right (I've added this switch later when the pedal was already done, so its kinda in a weird position) you can choose when you want to activate the Micro Amp. You can choose that the Micro Amp will go on if the left footswitch is activated (switchable booster) or by itself.
The design is just some improvisation with nail polish and an embosser. First I've wanted to etch something really cool on it, but when I realised that the pedal is already full of pots and switches, I didn't do it.

Sepukku Space Fuzz - Clone

This is my first Ferric Chloride etched enclosure (along with the Pearl/Vorg Warp, Seamoon Funkmachine and Box of Rock), and it turned out great.
This is a Sepukku Space Fuzz, it really sounds like a Uni-Vox Super Fuzz. I really like the sound of it, but I can create the same effect with my Green Ringer and Fuzzwar, so maybe I’m going to sell this one for cheap.
I've etched an astronaut-cat on the enclosure, because it is a Space Fuzz.

Pearl/Vorg Warp - Clone

A friend of mine who also builds pedals made a weird kind of wah pedal, I asked for the schematic and built one for myself. It's a Pearl/Vorg Warp Sound, you can compare the sound with a wah on fuzzy steroids.
The pedal has a level, gain and sweep/envelope pot. Martijn (that friend of mine) made an expression pedal input for the sweep pot, so you can use it like a wah pedal. I chose  a simple Oknob, so it would fit in a normal sized enclosure.
I use this pedal for ''walls of fuzz'', lots of gain/output and rocking the sweep pot.
I've etched The Terminator for this pedal, because everybody needs a cyborg

Z.Vex Box Of Rock - Clone

A Z.Vex Box Of Rock clone I've built for myself. From the web shop where I order most of my components, had two kinds of BS170 mosfet transistors (the box of rock has 4 of those) for sale, the ''normal'' and the one that Z.vex use. I've bought 4 of each to test if there was any difference in sound, I couldn’t hear any difference, so I wasted 5 euro's (they were really expensive).
I had this pedal for 2 weeks on my board, but I don’t really like the sound of the pedal on single coils (all my guitars are single coils, except one Danelectro), so I sold the pedal for cheap to Domenico Mangione.

Seamoon Funkmachine - Clone

20-02-2016
This is (for now) the last pedal in the series ''Controversial people with awesome facial hair''
I’ve put a Seamoon Funkmachine in this enclosure. The Funkmachine is, as the name states, a real Funkmachine. It really sounds like the old simple autowahs, low-fi and much ''quack''/duck noises.
We chose to etch Charles Manson on the enclosure, sadly it didn't turn out the way I wanted to, but maybe as you've read at the ''Hello Kitty Pedal'', this was my last time etching with caustic soda.
-update-
Later, I built one for The Soundlab. I'm really satisfied with the etching results; it was my first time etching with ferric chloride. Why the wheelchair? People in wheelchairs can't use a Wah-pedal, so they need an auto-wah (yeah, some inmature humour, I know).

Boss DD-7 Tap Tempo - Mod

First I had a small tap-tempo box for my Boss DD-7, but when a classmate (Valentijn Bors) showed me a picture of a DD-7 with the switch in it, I mod his and my own DD-7.
It's a really cool mod, you can tap the tempo and the switch does not hinder activating the pedal itself.
