Big Muff Rams Head - Mod

Modded my own current version of the big muff to a Ram’s Head Big Muff. It was kind of hard to find the right schematic for the big muff I have, while the Ram’s head only needed a simple google search. Because the traces of the big muff never really changed (only the values), it’s easy to mod it, just replace some of the components with a different value.
Now it has more distortion sounds, but still keeps the fuzziness, less scooped mids and it sounds more open.

Russian Big Muff - Mod

Modded the Big Black Russian Big Muff from Bert Zaremba, now the Big Muff is true bypass and it has an adapter input while you can still use a battery.

Uni-Vox Compressor - Mod/Repair

Let’s make vintage pedals useful again.
This is a Uni-Vox compressor from Yannick Tinbergen.
The pedal has a really boorish design: pots on the side, no LED and it works only on battery.
I’ve replaced the pots and put them on the top of the pedal (there in the middle because the input/output are in the back). Replaced the spdt footswitch with a 3pdt, added a Led on top and an adapter input on the side.
It’s fun to see the old circuit board from this pedal, the traces look like it’s glued on.

DBA Apocalypse Fuzz volume problem - Mod

Death by Audio is one of my favourite guitar fx companies, but why does everything need to be so loud? (Well, if you ever went to A place to bury strangers concert you know why)
This Apocalypse Fuzz from Yannick Tinbergen was sometimes too loud to use it as a ''normal fuzz'', so I've installed a second master/volume pot inside the fuzz, so you can always adjust the volume when the master on the pedal itself is too loud.

Boss DD-7 Tap Tempo - Mod

First I had a small tap-tempo box for my Boss DD-7, but when a classmate (Valentijn Bors) showed me a picture of a DD-7 with the switch in it, I mod his and my own DD-7.
It's a really cool mod, you can tap the tempo and the switch does not hinder activating the pedal itself.

Boss DS-1 ''Synth Drive'' - Mod

Boss DS-1, everyone's first guitar distortion (or behringer, if you were a broke kid). Until this day the DS-1 is one of my favourite distortion pedals, when they are modded. Myself I own a Keeley modded, but a friend of mine, Can Ur, wanted a solid distortion with some settings where you can get some unfriendly sound out of it.
So we went with the JHS Synth Drive DS-1 mod. First, the DS-1 will sound much better, less shrill and tighter; second, you can get strange noises with the toggle switches under the footswitch.
